Deliverance Quilt Shop

On the way to Southern Oregon for the opening reception for the 'Text Us' show, we pulled over to change drivers.  We managed to pick a spot with a ... guess ... quilt shop sign!  However, this has to be one of the few times I decided to pass.  Would you take a chance at shopping here?  I can almost here the screeching music tempo going on in the background.  If any quilters go missing in Oregon, I know where they might start looking.

I love thrifting and getting great deals and unique finds. Wool sweaters are what I covet for my crafts. One time I took a chance at a yard sale that gave me the creeps and scored a big pile of sweaters. So... I'd be tempted to take a peek, but only with my husband! Of course, the sign isn't what's bothering me, it's the dark and foreboding nature of the entrance and that you can't see what's inside.

I'd have passed on that one, too!

That's pretty scary looking!

If this were next to a well designed, upscale quilt shop, I would have gone in here first - looks can be deceiving and my sense of curiosity and adventure are alive and well!!

Heck yeah! I would have stopped to shop. I have found the best stuff, prices and nicest folks at out of the way, strange looking to other folks places!
